I've got Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince! I can finally join the rest of the world!
Woot!
It should also be noted I'm currently in possesion of the ten volumes of Gaiman's Sandman graphic novels. (How I love libraries...) This fact makes me extremely happy, as does that I was able to find a copy of his BBC Neverwhere series.
I'm all set for a very enjoyable next 24 hours.

Date: 2005-07-20 02:02 pm (UTC)It is really good.
Sandman is awesome. My favorite is A Doll's House.
I have the Neverwhere book - much better than the show, just because you don't get cheesy special effects in books. I can mail it to you if you want, if you can't find it in the library or something.

Date: 2005-07-20 02:18 pm (UTC)thanks for the offer, but I have my own copy of Neverwhere. It's a little battered (though not nearly as much as good Omens is), and I love it. Film wise though, I loved Islington and Richard.

Date: 2005-07-21 03:29 am (UTC)As for Neverwhere, I'd recommend seeing it (and also the Gaiman interview on the second disc, as it's rather good and a bit funny). It's not the book, that's for sure, but the Marquis is very good, as are Richard and Door. And Islington is, IMO, perfect.
