When my cousin came over yesterday, she and her maternal unit brought coffee syrup. Now, if you live outside of New England, (and it wouldn't surprise me if this is just a Rhode Island thing,) chances are you may never have experienced coffee milk. Tastes just like coffee ice cream, and is rather popular around here at times.
However, I was looking at the bottle and it said "State Drink of Rhode Island." WTF? We have a state drink? this is important information, so why isn't it a high priority when you look up Rhode Island or in the curriculum. I've lived in the state for about 12 years and didn't find it out until now? What is the world coming to.

If you haven't seen it, head over to
shoebox_project. It's very amusing and rather well done.
And I gave in to my urges and bought tickets for dad and I to Lyle Lovett tomorrow night at the Sunset Music Festival.
