I had a good weekend, and for that I am pleased. Our new B and B should be good, and I feel good about things overall.

Also, I learned a basic naalbinding stitch, which I forsee much practicing with, as I want to make socks. I *really* want to make socks. (And hats, but those are less pressing...)

Of course, now I need to buckle down and get Estrella sewing underway. The requirements are two pairs of bag trousers, an overdress, two underdresses, and four tunics.

Not to mention repairs. Woot!

I want to try naalbinding socks as well. Have you made regular knitted socks before?

I'm not sure how different the process is, but it might be worth looking at some knitted sock instructions to get a feel for the pattern. I also found this for naalbinding socks, which also looks to be pretty good.

Nalbinding socks isn't so bad. Since its worked in the round anyway, socks go well. I think the simplest way is to just leave a slit for the heel, then fill it in. You definitely want to make the two socks in parallel. :)

Thats pretty much what Ivan said on socks, and mercifully, he's not far away if I have questions.
