At least in the end-of-week scheme of things. Dom and I had been planning on going out of town this weekend, but for various reasons, it's not happening. However, we both had the time put in and so decided to keep it.

Consequently, it's going to be a mostly quiet weekend of house-work, I think. And baking. Lots of baking. Have someone looking at the pool pump tomorrow, which is good. We're helping dad move on Saturday, and have a few potential and vague plans in the evenings, but that's about it.

This afternoon, need to run a few errands before picking Dom up from work. I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend of doing stuff I feel like doing. I've ordered the few books I need for the summer and fall classes, and they're shipped. My baking supplies are coming today and playing with them will be fun. (Yes, I'm certainly looking forward to all of it. I need it in many ways.)

I'll certainly get some reading in as well, and maybe cutting out of linen. We've got stuff for new clothing, and with everything settling have more time for SCA projects. My spinning wheel is partially disassembled so I can fool around with a few things before spinning more - I'd like to spin the pound of wool I have setting aside. Maybe I'll also find Dom's 40K minis so they can get stripped...

I may still want to take you up on your offer to use a sewing machine on Sunday. I will call when I know more about Sunday plans.

Sounds good. We're getting together with Chris and Dan for Formula One, but that's a dinner thing and I'll know more tomorrow.

Also, Bill mentioned you had some mulberry jam - would you possibly be willing to give some to me so I could try making rugelach with it?

I don't have much, but I could spare a small amount for experimentation purposes. I made a single jar and the birds have subsequently stripped the trees. Even the green berries are gone.

That would be great if you didn't mind. And I can promise you'd get some of the product in return.

Do you need to borrow a machine? I have one (or 3) I could loan you for a bit.

Only if you don't mind it being used a Kingdom Collegium for basting.

I have 2 that need repair; Roland is helping me with that. I'm just not sure when it will happen and I have a shirt to make between now and Tuesday.

I will confess I am largely motivated by rugula when I asked to crash Willa's and use her machine.

Okay, NP. I do not want it used for a class but personal use I'm okay with. Yeah, her sweets sound faboo.

In my potentially finite wisdom, it's going to be a baking-heavy weekend...

Croissants will be semi-conquered.
