Let's see...

Yeah - still in a good mood. though that may be because i'm not squeaking in pain each time i hit my thumb. yeah, got it very nicely with the mandoline, but at least it's starting to heal.

Went over to [livejournal.com profile] raventhourne and [livejournal.com profile] posadnik_ivan's on Friday to learn how to set up my wheel. It's now in the living room and I've been playing around with it. Of course, by playing around, I mean just using pedaling it to get the motion down. Which is actually working rather well, which is spiffy. Next step is getting some stuff and practicing feeding.

Oddly enough, or maybe not, it's kind of soothing. The wheel's a little funky - among other things, in unpacking, we found out it had been in storage for about 15 years ([livejournal.com profile] cowboy_r did a short, dramatic, reading from the ProJo it was wrapped in). But it's here and I love it. Plus, it's really pretty...

Of course, I've also been playing way too much Tetris, which may or may not be a good thing. It certainly seems to happily been sucking my soul. Except for the little time I've been playing Folklore, which is an interesting and surprisingly enjoyable little game. (note to self - must. get. the. cait. sidhe.)
