Hrm. A quick wiki search for "capybara flavor" turns up that they're pretty decent and considered a delicacy. Be served with rice and fried plantains, they're a sweet white meat that is very similar to pork. Given my aversions to pork, that kinda rules them out for me as a regular item. Though I'd make an exception if the chance arose... just on principle if nothing else. For science or something... :-p
well, I can think of one person who wouldn't have the same reaction. My mother would be like, "OO! where's a shotgun...gotta get them while they're young!"
Though basically, Capybaras are my mom's worst rodent nightmare.
