Various Stuff

So, it's now been in for over a week. Spotting has almost entirely stopped and I'm not feeling it. This is totally spiffy! Cramps have been minimal (read, barely there) and all is good.

The long and the short is thus - archives is taking over what used to be archeology, meaning more space. Oh yes, and I was offered a staff archivist position. In the vicinity of 3/4 time (enough that I won't get swamped by school or work, and also enough for the tuition waiver). There will (hopefully and likely) be more travel involved, and I'm going to get my very own projects! Woot!

Same old, same old. I continue to plod along and would be very happy if it ended tomorrow. Seriously. Grad school starting would be nice. Having issues with the Financial Aid office, but I guess that's to be expected.

Felt should be here this week - I have plans for it. Also, some other minor food-related plotting is in order.

Oh yes, and Want Want brand rice cakes are tasty.

It's looking like park H files, some Colorado River stuff, and the like. Cataloging, mostly.

There's also the Little Bighorn trip I'm looking forward to (if all goes to plan).
