In no particular order

1) The Great Railway Bazaar by Paul Theroux.

I honestly can't believe it took me this long to read it. Very good travelogue. I've got the successor, Ghost Train to the Eastern Star sitting next in the pile.

2) Spindle's End by Robin McKinley.

What can I say, I finally got around to adding her feed to my lj, and am on a subsequent kick. I haven't gotten her latest yet, but I fully intend to read all the books of hers I've got on hand...

Also, it's official. I've tried to watch the David Lynch Dune. Important word there: tried.

We'll get back to that.

Hah. I'm not sure if Warhammer novels should count. The amount of depth they have, I'd be more likely to give credit for a comic book. (And definitely for any Neil Gaiman graphic novel...)

Heh. My first 3 were the Quicksilver trilogy by Neil Stevenson... it should count double for any time he starts going into cryptography. (I still haven't decided if I'm going to go for the 50. I usually hit that many in a normal year anyways.)

I kind of gave up on counting half-way through last year.

I know I read that many, but yeah...
