Well, we can say with authority - the food at the wedding should be quite tasty.

Since we had a meeting with the coordinator person at Hotel Congress after work, we decided to grab dinner there. It was a bit of a wait, seeing as we didn't know they took reservations and there was an Indigo Girls show at the Rialto.

However, the food was really good, and totally worth the wait. I had pasta with vegetables and chicken, and domnall had lamb. The nachos are very tasty as well.

A warning to those who may venture there later - the devil's food cake is too rich to eat alone. It's completely worth the price. Definitely going to have to go there and try more of their desserts.

Surprised they didn't invite you to have dinner for free since you are getting married there. When Ed and I got married we got to go to all the restaurants that were catering possibilities and eat free. We had fun doing that!

With Hotel Congress, you have to have them cater. So I think their logic is something like "If you're choosing us, it's probably for multiple reasons and we'll assume you've eaten here before"

then again... we didn't ask about it. *grin*
