Weekend Update!
May. 26th, 2008 05:37 pmOverall - a lovely weekend.
Friday night and Saturday were mainly lazing about - a last-minute change in plans on Saturday meant we went out for dinner. This was followed by a nice, quite night.
I have decided I'm not allowed to buy any new fiction this summer. (Except possibly to replace by copy of Good Omens for it is near to giving up the ghost.) I've got a good collection of stuff I've bought in recent months, as well as some on loan, I should get through. From the Mark Helprin sitting on my shelf and calling to China Mieville to some various and sundry anthologies - I should be stocked.
Sunday was quite fun. Went over to Bryan and Joy's for an early Memorial-Day-party-thingy. I made cream cheese brownies (disgusting good and rich. Nigella Lawson, how I owe you). There was food, and friends, and it was quite fun. As an added bonus, also got the name of a tattoo artist (saw and liked his work), and a hair salon/stylist.
Life was, and is, good.
Today we saw Prince Caspian and Indiana Jones. The former was just... *happy willa* and the second wasn't *bad*, just less than satisfying. Still glad I saw it though.
