A brief note

swordmageSaw Evan Almighty on Sunday. Cute movie, I don't thinka s good as the first, but still rather fun.
But there was one thing that got to me - that damned benevolent God. Now, I'm by no means a practicing Catholic now. But growing up one, and then having it drilled into me off and on until the end of high school, has made me maybe a bit... biased.
But the whole thing at the end which stated that the ark was supposed to be an act of random kindness (ARK - see! *headdesk*) was... frustrating. Because damn it, God was a vengeful being in the Old Testament, and it's like they're saying he's always been nice and kind and just. *sigh*
That is all.
Though, Ratatouille comes out Friday. *is pleased*

So this is modern times and God is flooding the earth again, but Rainbows are God's promise to never flood the earth again.
