My mother did not in fact get wireless - she got broadband.

There is a difference. The former allows me to surf the interrnet from the couch, the latter means not from my laptop.

I found this out when the network I'd been using decided it didn't like me.

Oh well.

At least the owners of the wireless network I used over the summer at mom's haven't picked up. So I can happily surf from the bathroom.

Which, at the least, is something.

Actually, the belkin54g user that I was shamelessly lifting wireless fromhas now happily resumed working for me.

So all is good.
