swordmageToday's a holiday here in RI. V-J Day is still celebrated here, though we now call it V/Victory Day.
I went to Arnold Art and bought some nice watercolor pencils at a decent price. I was thinking of getting some Craypas or Caran d'Ache's but ended up passing and bought the Reeves pencils. I haven't really drawn in ages and I think I'm sort of shoddy, but I intend to get better.
Then went to Barnes and Noble with the sib, picked up an interesting anthology called Firebirds and covered her when her magazines and manga (Hana-Kimi 7, on the off chance anyone's interested) ended up being a bit more then she expected.
Also shipped all my stuff off to Tucson. Wow.
Am currently happy with myself and am now off to break in my new pad and pencils.
