Why or why not?: You usually have something interesting or amusing to say, and when you are just talking about life, you do it well
Interesting fact about you: When I was a teenager, I used to sing with Calista Flockhart
Weird fact about you: Hmmm...not sure. I'd need to know your definition of 'weird' first

Ask me a question:What was your favorite stuffed toy as a child?
Recommend me:
1. A movie: Practical Magic starring Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock. funny and suspenseful and sweet
2. A book: American Gods by Neil Gaiman What he says about roadside attractions seems kind of true.
3. A musical artist, song, or album: Um...just to be strange, I'll recommend my husband's band. They are called Mondo Topless, and you can buy their album, but I've no idea where. Possibly here

Date: 2005-05-09 07:29 pm (UTC)American Gods is one of my favorite books of all time. (I'm ever so gleefully waiting for Gaiman's next, which is coming soon.)
As for my favorite stuffed toy as a child-there were two. One was a lion, who I used as a pillow and reading support for years due to the fact that he sat upright like a teddy bear. The other was a Littlefoot (of Land Before Time fame) from my grandparents. One time, after getting my hair cut, I decided to cut his, figuring it would grow back like my own did. That was when I realized that The Nutcracker wasn't real. My toys didn't come alive at night to do battle with the Rat King and his hoardes. Another childhood dream smashed by reality. *laughs*
