Lovely, I'm in the process of organizing what I got from non-immediate family members for Christas (as I want to get the cards out ASAP) and I realize that I got four scarves. Not that I'm complaining, as i like scarves quite a bit. I simply find it a bit amusing.
Return of the King Extended Edition
Joseph Campbell's the Hero With A Thousand Faces
Two necklaces (a Benedictine Cross and a Celtic Knot)
A snazzy board game called Tuchulcha from my aunt (actually, it's for bith my sister and I, but still)
An old American Racing Manual (all the information for 1959)
The Whole Mr. Bean
I know there's more, I just can't seem to think of it right now.
That said, Christmas wasn't a bad affair. Dinner at my grandmother's with pretty much the entire family. Not bad, even if it did get to be a bit grating on my nerves. But I'll post a full (and most likely friends locked) version of why it was grating at some point later this week.
All that and the pain from my braces s finally wearing off. Except for one stubborn front incisor that doesn't like any form of pressure.
