Actually, I won't be getting the wires on until Wednesday (as I've got to get a tooth pulled Monday. fun). But still, it's such a strange feeling. At least I'm not in the smae predicament as a cousin of mine who needed to have her jaw reshaped. Or something like that,
It's just going to take some getting used to.
All that and the MU and I made a bet ($100) over whether Matthew Barney (of Cremaster fame) will be anything in the art world in 20 years. The bet spun off a discussion on Marcel Duchamp's Fountain (the urinal signed R. Mutt and some date) and why it's considered the most influential work of the 20th century. for the record, i can't stand it. She says Barney will be nothing in 20 years, I thin that he'll be an influence on arrt.
