swordmageSo apparently CBS got innundated with complaints after they put a newsflash of the death of Yassir Arafat during the last five minutes of CSI:NY.
Yes, I understand that your shows are important to you. Yes, I know that the last five minutes are important.
But, goddamnit, don't you think that the death of a man who's been such a major figure in the Middle East is important? (Let's not get into what he supported or anything, and just leave it at the fact that he was a major/important figure for what, 40 years?)
Then again, it wouldn't surprise me to find out that a bunch of those people have no clue who Yasser Arafat is.
And just for the record, I have a somewhat low view of the intelligence of large parts of the American population. (Not that I'm a genius or anything. I just happen to think they're incredibly stupid.)
