It's... All... GONE!!

swordmageSo, after getting picked up from school yesterday (yes, I'm 18 and have my license, no I don't have a car) I went with the MU when she got her hair colored. It beat staying at school until something like 3 with nothing to do. When I was there, her stylist asked her what I was doing, got the reply that I was just with her, and then, since one of Olga's stylists was going to be free shortly, I was asked if I would I like a trim?
Let's see, my hair hasn't officially been cut in years. It's almost 3/4 of the way down my back. And very thick. I've just always been so busy that I haven't bothered to get it cut or anything. And I'll be the first to admit that it 's usually in a somewaht messy ponytail.
Not anymore. She took something like a foot off and it now actually looks so much better. Not to mention so much lighter. It now won't weeigh a ton when wet. And i can wear it loose and it won't tangle in five minutes!
It's such a surprise every time I reach up to pull it back into a ponytail. There are shorter pieces on either sde of my face which sort of don't like to be in ponytails, though they'll go if forcibly made. And then try to escape. And it now comes maybe 1/4 of hte way down my back. And it's so light... i can't get over that. And I know it'll be even more noticible tonight when I take a shower. And it'll dry so much faster.
I can't wait to see the surprise on people's faces come Monday. I've never had it any other way.
