swordmageMy cousin Chris is back! he was in Japan for a few weeks as well as all over that area doing stuff with his fellow architecture peoples.
It's so lovely to see him back. And he brings pictures and drawings. And a postcard that will arrive in the next week.
And a nice note: A pair of little girls were in the store today with their mom. (Actually, I think only one was her daughter, but anyway.) The younger of the two looks up and sees the earrings I'm wearing, a pair mom made with black and white pearls (they're not perfectly round and have a pretty cool shape to them). She proceeds to tell me how much she likes the earrings. It was nice, as they're not the type of flambouyant earrings that seem to be (in my experience) the only kind little girls (5ish) notice.
