swordmageThe house is so quiet with mom and Pip away. Sometimes I like it, but at others it feels strange.
Easter was nice, had dinner at Muzz's with family. Overall, rather fun. Even if some cousins vehemently protested when I admitted I was online looking for animal bones and horns. Lately, I've been finding out more about myself (yes-it sounds insanely corny, and probably is), most of it somewhat inadvertantly. The best part? I have a slightly morbid sense of humor. Happy times.
Saw both Underworld (which I wasn't expecting to be particularly good, but had fairly decent special effects) and Hellboy (which I found myself liking somewhat) this weekend. The first was rented because I was in the mood for something with not a ton of substance, but still different. Two hourse and there wasn't a single shot in decent sun-light. (I don't count the flashback of Luciens.) And for some reason, I got a kick out of it. Memo to self-screencap it. Hellboy was pretty good. I got a kick out of Sammael and loved Abe (even if his voice reminded me of C3PO). It was really a nice change in movies. Hell, I got a kick out of it. Oh yeah, Liz's fire was really cool.
I knew I had some other stuff I wanted to mention, but for the life of me can't.
Oh well, I'll remember and post it later.
