I spent a very nice morning/early afternoon with my dad. Definitely something to look forward to after spending most of yesterday at work.

We hit up the Wildlife Museum, which involved much glee over dead animals, discussion of taxidermy in museums, and commentary on hunting for sport. Plus amusement

Then we drove out to Gates' Pass, overshot it and ended up near Saguaro, and then hit it on the way back. Got a few nice photos, all things considered. Plus, there was A Prairie Home Companion on, so we listened and laughed over it. This was followed by lunch at The Bum Steer. I'd forgotten how good their burgers are, and they're much cleaner then the last time I was there. Which probably can be attributed to new management.

On a whim, after lunch, we swung by Sanctity Tattoo on University. Since I'm currently debating (well, deciding on, by now) a second tattoo, it's now a question of where. Being as I want something in a Japanese style, that rather limits my shops in Tucson. Having seen their work, and liked it, decided to stop by. I have to say, there's really nice in there, and the portfolios are good. I spoke a tiny bit with Jay about what I'm after, he offered some ideas, and I definitely think that I'm going to head in at some point soon and discuss getting something in earnest, instead of vague terms.

Oh! We saw Inception last night. And it was awesome. Multi-layered, strange, requiring multiple viewings, I think. But certainly well worth it in many, many ways. I think Nolan gets better and better.

Overall, it should be rather a nice week. Just have a follow-up with the oral surgeon Tuesday, and a mostly quiet time. I can finally work on my own projects and attack the pile of Dinosaur things that are haunting pretty much everyone, because it never seems to end. Whee!
