let's see...
Jul. 23rd, 2010 09:08 pmWell, first off, thank god the week is nearly over.
I say nearly because I'm intending on working tomorrow, for most of the day, because I've got a decent amount of work there and it really wouldn't hurt to have it at least somewhat attacked. Seriously, between the monographs and the Little Bighorn stuff I really need to finish, there's more than enough to get me through the day.
However, I've got another class nearly completed (just need to finish the project in the next two weeks). Utterly fascinating one on preservation, that's been one of the highlights so far. It was very much worth missing a week of work for, if I do say. I ended up getting quite a bit to think about and consider, as well as some practical/hands-on knowledge. And the realization that, all things considered, when it comes to archiving.
Having both read Still Life - Adventures in Taxidermy, dad and I decided that we needed to go to the Wildlife Museum and look at it all to find out what we missed on prior trips that they try to hide. Should be one of the highlights of my weekend, being as it'll occur on Sunday. I'm certainly looking forward to it.
Adventures in wisdom teeth continue. One side of my mouth is pretty content, but the other seems annoyed, with the upper jaw starting to become sore as well. I'm fully expecting the follow-up appointment on Tuesday to be interesting and perhaps frustrating. Of course, this time I'm not going to pass out...
