(no subject)

It's Monday.

I have no class. I have no work. I have nothing to do except get Waffle, run a few errands, and pack. Oh, and clean a little.

My mom and sister came in on Thursday night and left this morning.

Graduation went... well. Oddly enough. I had my iPhone with me - which greatly helped. Sadly, the speaker did not ride in on a Segway. I know people were disappointed. Despite the fact that they were searching for them, tortillas still got through. Lots of them. I said my good byes to the few Art History people I wanted to - namely C, who's off to Spain and has promised me photos. (She's also going to be working in the archeological museum in Madrid, if I recall correctly.)

Saw Wolverine (decent. I *heart* Deadpool) and Star Trek (woot!) yesterday. The latter was seen with dad, [livejournal.com profile] squeeky_v, and mom. The latter is apparently quite a Trekkie. I don't think I quite knew this. Despite Pippa's apprehension (she doesn't like SciFi), she had a good time - particularly once Simon Pegg showed up. Overall, I thought the casting was quite good, I enjoyed everything, and despite knowing barely anything about about Star Trek, I enjoyed it. Lots.

My brain now gets to spend some time recovering. I'm hoping a few weeks out East will kind of let all my brain cells get resettled before grad school. I've got plans for this summer. Some, I will admit, are more ambitious than others. But overall, I'm hoping to get everything done and settled.

Saw Trek this weekend with Megan, Pinky and the girl runt-child. It really was pretty good and the casting was quite well-done indeed. Still have not seen Wolverine. Hoping to catch it in the theatre, but who knows? *shrug*

I really want the hat Scotty was wearing on that icy outpost.
