Thanksgiving, as I said before, went quite well. We're almost through turducken leftovers.

Currently, I think the primary protein component for the week in dinner is lamb. I love lamb, it's probably my favorite meat. The cost has gone up a little at 17th street - we've currently got a seven pound bone-in leg of it in the fridge. I need to hack it up, particularly because I plan on making lamb stew with it at some point this week.

I will admit - the weekend mostly ended up with us sleeping and running some errands. I feel like I've not gotten much sleep as of late...

Need to get working on Estrella stuff. First things I want to finish are furry hats and coats. Then some dresses for me, bag trousers and shirts for domnall.

The chiropractor I've started going to? I need to suppress giggles every time I go.

Friday gaming goes well. Swimmingly actually. We're playing DnD 4th right now. And for those of you who are familiar with Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar - my tiefling warlock has acquired the equivalent of Need. *sigh*


Oh yes, and raventhourne - you mentioned having easy hat patterns. Could you by chance email them to me?

*grin* I have a deep and abiding love for her. She may write what amounts to fluff reading, but I think she's actually a talented writer...

I do need to pick up Foundation soon though. New Valdemar = woot!

Next time you head out for lamb or some other kosher item, check out Feig's Deli on 5th and Rosemont. They hold pretty normal business hours but are worth the effort. Plus, they'll even prep the meat into steaks, stew cubes or whatever other cuts you want. If you give yourself time and order a week in advance they can even time things so that the meat is same-day slaughter and pickup. Mmmmm....
