Another thing done before I leave

drhawver called me to say he was in town and would I like to meet him and some others at Empire, which is a bubble tea place on Broadway. Did so, and it turned out he'd brought his sister Emily and friend Rissy along. Had tea (coffee in my case), went to Closet Revival, and then down to Tibet In-Port.
Drove around to a few other places, Nile, Emily, and I compared notes and stories on places we remember from when they lived in Newport and stuff. Joked about Nile and I when we were young (4th grade or thereabouts) and some summers I'd care to put behind me, but were amusing to look back on.
Overall, a good time. I'd wanted to see him before I left and ask him a few questions, which I did. All is now good on that front. (not that it wasn't before, but this made me happy. i always like to see/talk to nile.)
