(no subject)

Spent a lovely two hours down at my chosen place of summer employment. I know it'll be an enjoyable work experience.

I also just spent time working with a friend of my mom's (who's staying with us) on her brochure. She does holistic medicine, and so this was filled with lovely information on what she does. And it sounds like some charlatan-bogus stiff. It really was all I could do to not say "You're serious? People believethis shit works?" I mean, descriptions like (to paraphase) "the chemicals of the stained glass help the body to feel better" sort of make me cock my head in confusion.

*sigh*

You're watching The Box! *squee* sorry, but that was like my favorite episode from Season 1. Besides the one where Sark and Sydney fight with the curvy things, whose name escapes me.

The Box=Quentin Tarantino=Happiness

Are you talking about the episode which (at least part of) takes place in Rabat? Where Sydney poses as somone working for (name escapes me, but it's a terrorist group of some kind) at the request of the CIA. The one where she ends up being shot by Dixon?

Yeah, where she has to wear the pink sari-type thing and there is much Sark-y goodness. And then she gets hurt and Dixon grabs her arm and totally figures out what's up.

Ah Season 1, I kind of miss you. What is up with that show lately?

I really wish I knew what went on in season 3. I've tracked down summaries, but they're not the same as seeing the show.

*sigh*

Hey, remember our conversation about a possible 1982 Sweeney Todd DVD? Well, I just found out that Amazon.com does indeed have the DVD of the show! I'm very excited - thought you might like to know since you said you only had a DVD player and couldn't watch the video version. ^_^

Woohoo!!! I love you!

*scurries off to Barnes and Noble online to search for it there, as she has a gift certificate for the place*
