The Etiquette Grrls on Goth

The following is from the book More Things You Need To Be Told. One of the authors is an alumna of my current high school, and so, when I saw this on the new shelf, I felt I needed to pick it up.
Needless to say, though I may disagree with their views on Sondheim, I think I'm rather fond of them.
The Etiquette Grrls do have a Wee Word of Advice to Young Goths, however. Don't Overdo It. Remebe, as always, Less is More. Filing you teeth into Wee Fangs and wearing a Spiked Dog Collar as a necklace is less Fearsome than it is un peu Amusing. Furthur, Goth is about A State of Mind, not How Many Piercings You Have. Can the Etiquette Grrls be Sullen and Badass while dressed from Head to Toe in Laura Ashley or Banana Republic? Mais, naturallement! When is such a Mode, would we be categorized by Any Passing Stranger as "Alternative?" Certainly. And can we be Sullen and Badass and Simultaneously be Polite, Courteous, gracious, and Charming? You better believe it Dear Reader-the Etiquette Grrls are All things. And you can be, too, Dear Reader. Remeber, Attitude is Everything.
Yes, they may enjoy random capitalization, but at least it's used to emphasize the important words, and is used throughout the book.
