(no subject)

Well, life's pretty good. The fact that the better-than-anticipated mood continues is a definite plus. It's sort of silly that I remind myself this regularly, but if it's helping, I'm not going to complain.

Otherwise, the weekend was good. We had my dad over for Thanksgiving and paella was made. Of course, we now need to make it again because there was an argument over what made up proper paella. But this is my family, and I am unsurprised.

We started properly cleaning the house as well, starting in the living room. It's organized and looks much less chaotic than before. There were plans for more, but considering that there were plumbing issues (one solved, another needing... more) and we ended up relaxing it was put off.

Otherwise, things are going well. I ended up happily working on projects. Well, mostly I've been sketching design elements for some projects that are in the pipeline. It does mean that Dom's getting a coat decorated in a Dune theme, but as anyone who knows him will attest... this really isn't that surprising. I've been doing a bit of embroidery as well, which is rather relaxing.

We're also working on getting Ryan out with new fighting kit. He's going Russian and I think he's looking forward to it.

In short - I'm happy, semi-productive and completely and utterly mad.
