Feb. 17th, 2010 06:26 amMmmm, sushi. Hit Sushi Cho last night with a number of other friends for a few hours of chatting and fun.
As an aside, before I forget - Mike Doughty is playing at Club Congress next Friday, and Dom and I are going. We'd be pleased to see anyone else who may be interested, as it should be a good show. We saw him when he opened for BNL, and this will be acoustic, it looks like.
It was a damned good war. There were a few things I could have done, certainly, but for the most part, I enjoyed just relaxing and hanging out with friends.
Didn't really do anything in particular, but hung around camp, wandered, saw some people, and just had a good time. It was relaxed and I was happy for that. Purchases of note were beaver pelt (for hat bait) and a rapier. I figured I'd had the gorget and mask for a year, might as well get the actual sword and start getting out soon.
And then of course, there's the stuff I missed while gone:
*BMW Oracle killing Alinghi in the America's Cup, thereby bringing the race back to the states. Defender will be the Golden Gate Yacht Club, so I highly doubt it'll end up coming to Newport once more, but I'm still disgustingly pleased.
*Alexander McQueen's death (suicide or not, it's still quite sad).
*Bits and pieces of the Olympics. Which I may or may not feel like catching.
*Schoolwork. Which will be attacked, slowly and with some regularity, this week.
