end-of-week-status

So, I spent a thoroughly enjoyable week with an on-again-off-again cold. Just when I think it's over, it returns to haunt me. Always fun. I think that if I'd dealt with it early(ier) on, would have ended up gone much sooner. Alas, no. Instead, I get to continue to fight off the dregs.


Class-wise stuff went actually well. For the most part, that is. I got to play with glass (!) on Thursday and it's making me want to try lampwork again. Probably when we get back from the East Coast... *makes note to self* Classes are slowly winding down and I've got stuff to do this weekend for them - two finals to work on and a paper as well are the priorities I think.


The situation with beastie-as-graduation-gift-to-myself (ie: tattoo) was resolved. After discussion with my (ever-patient) mother, everything went back to the start. She wasn't entirely happy with anything that she produced, and if she's not happy, no sense in putting it on my body, right? More on that front as things progress - though I'm still looking at getting it done before I go back out to RI. *grin*


Had my one-month IUD checkup today. All is well and good. Everything I was half worried about is, in fact, perfectly normal and fine.


And now, dinner is in the oven and I am happy.
