So - today's adventures in welding went somewhat better. It's not that I hate the Oxy-Acetylene set-up. It's that I can't get the damn things to look nice and neat. Oh well, that's what grinders are for...


domnall and I will be heading to Maryland after Christmas for a few days. His sister and brother-in-law are flying us out. I get a day in DC as payment. This would normally probably not be much of a problem, flying out there for a few days. Except for one minor thing.

We're getting in at about 10:30 pm. And I leave between 7 and 8 am for Santa Fe. Where I will be until the following Saturday night.

So - got my advance for the Santa Fe trip in. I'm actually really looking forward to it. I'm staying until the Saturday afternoon before classes start. This will be quite good.

Need to get Christmas shopping finished. *mutters*
