Remember people - if you're able to and don't vote, you have no right to complain.

I just got back from it. Across the street, no line. Life is good.

Post this in your journal and lets see how many of us, in the US, voted:

I voted today!,
I hope you plan to vote. Once you do post this in your LJ.

If you have not voted, and do not plan to, don't tell me why, Do something about it!

1. Bake Struan
2. Bake Sourdough
3. Mend my two underdresses.
4. Make stew.

[livejournal.com profile] domnall and I are planning on going up on Friday morning to Southern. I've got classes I really shouldn't miss on Thursday as well as the fact that I can't afford to take more than a day off of work. We've gotten camping space (with [livejournal.com profile] reynier and Co, for which I at least, am quite grateful).

After Southern, I'm looking forward to being able to sew stuff and work on a few small projects.

What can I say? A good mood is upon me: I voted, I'm going to bake tonight, and our renewal for CSA is in my bag to be dropped off this afternoon.

The BBC is calling it - almost 2/1 for Obama.

Now, from the start I've not thought of Obama as the savior of the world. However, I don't think the results, as they stand now, are by any means a bad thing.

You know, change is be good. I don't think absolutely everything will change, and the change that does will not be easy. I am curious as to what the future will bring.

If nothing else, I'm inclined to agree with my father here: people are hopeful about this, and hope is a good thing.
