First off, I recently discovered The Ethicurean, which is an interesting little blog on food. which is something I'm in love with, and don't talk nearly enough about. Once again, I'm going to swear to start baking more.

domnall gave me a heads up on a birthday present - Vanity Fair subscription. Proust questionnaire! Dominick Dunne! Elvis Costello in the Music issue! *happy willa* It did also mean that I finally caved and picked up subscriptions to The New Yorker, which I recently realized how much I missed reading (for as long as I can remember, I've read it, only stopped with regularity when I came out here) and Wired, because tech is good.

Yes, I could possibly be considered odd.

I've also started to (mentally) assemble the battle-lines for using up the fabric stash.

Contacting people who need to be contacted for wedding - woot! Got license, which was straight-forward. Though I did boggle t the two couples before us who didn't both filling out the form before going up to the counter. Really... it took all of five minutes.
