I feel like I'm the only one on my flist who hasn't yet read Half-Blood Prince. It's not really a fact that's bothering me much, as I know I should be getting around to reading it soon.

Friday night though, I went out with a friend to see A Midsummer Night's Dream in Warren by a local theatre. Midsummer's a good play, but these guys did a wonderful job of it. There were little things in the production that made it a bit more modern-Oberon calling Puck on a cell-phone and showing him (or her, as this case was, it was an older woman, who was great) a picture of Lysander. Lysander was a complete low-life here, and I liked it. Demetrius was a sniffling love-struck fool. The players were great, and their production of Pyramus and Thisbe was a complete and utter riot. Bottom's death as Pyramus was over the top, and perfectly so. The costumes were well-done and it was well-cast. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable production.

I've also become addicted to Prime Suspect. The third one does, it should be noted, contain a good performance by everyone's favorite werewolf David Thewlis. Generally, I'mnot a fan of murder mysteries, but these are good ones and it's hard to dislike Helen Mirren as Tennison.

One month until I leave for Tucson. And college...
