I Do Love Night Shifts
Jul. 8th, 2005 10:36 pmThis meant I worked 4 to 10 instead of 10 to 4.
I din't see a single sale for the last three hours of the night, and no customers for long periods during that time. So I broke down boxes (but didn't bother taking them to the dumpster-it was raining and cold). This also meant I had the box cutter in my back pocket, and once again I walked out of the store with it. Upon realizing this fact, I was a bit amused. It's not the first time this has happened.
But I was happily able to read for most of the night.
And then I'm back in at 10 tomorrow.
Man, I'm going to miss this job.
