(no subject)

So I went to Prom last night with an old friend drhawver. it was the first time in a while that I just was myself. Pictures, at least of the Pre-Prom reception will be forthcoming, as soon as my aunt sends them to me. It was held at a really nice place, the Glen Manor House. Overall, just a ton of fun.

Of course, dancing for several hours straight (or close to) has made me somewhat sore. But it's a wothwhile and happy sore.

It was great that Nile came with me. It's always god to go with someone with whom you can talk and enjoy yourself. Certainly, I think I enjoyed it more then if I went with someone from the Abbey. Why? Because Nile has, over the years, has seen/spoken to/whatever more of me then my friends at the Abbey. Which is a very good thing.

I am also proud to say that, while lots of the guys may have been wearing tails, my date was the only one in vintage tails.

Oh well, off to take a shower to get the rest of the "cement" in my hair out. Whatever Olga used was great, it still hasn't completely let my hair down.
