More from my priceless life
Apr. 29th, 2004 12:43 amMy ever-wonderful father forwarded this to me. The photos may be funny, but what makes this EBay auction priceless is the description. I shall quote part
( In which we discuss the dress price, modeling, and other funny crap. )
We had the student body elections today. One of the highlights in the speechess came from a friend who lives in Laramie, Wyoming. The gist was that he's now a junior, and things have changed. However, when he arrived, 3 years ago, as a freshman, he was known as the "kid with half a thumb, who used to raise emus and sing Irish songs at the top of my lungs." Damn it, I love some of the kids in my class.
And the Kentucky Derby is Friday, and my current pick, Imperialism, is at a very nice morning line price of 15-1. Happy describes my mood quite well right now.
And with Troy opening soon (what, 2 weeks from tomorrow?), I'm feeling apprehensive. Apparently, some of my favorite characters are not in it, and they've ruined part of the plot. Which does not make for a happy Willa.
And we saw wild turkeys on the way to school Very cool.
