Feb. 13th, 2004 08:15 pmI got my ISP back today. Thankfully, the paper worth a quarter of my term grade got me an A. I'm very happy about this.
However, my mom somehow got hold of a turkey, which she intends on cooking tomorrow. I'd much prefer this to be just her, myself, and my sister. However, it appears as if she's inviting several people who I have no wish to see over. This is a bit annoying, and it led to a mini-argument over the people we're friends with. I see no reason why I should be all "best-friend-like" with her friends. I just am not fond of some of them. Period.
This isn't the first argument of this kind we've had. I loathe some of her friends, but she insists I like them. For the simple fact that they're her friends.
I really need to get some photo work done this weekend. I've got several pictures I intend to take for a project. Not to mention I need to buy a new flash-somehow mine got shot. (Not literally, it just no longer works.)
The campus at school seems to be getting more barren daily. I know they're in the process of cutting down a fair amount of the trees, as they have a blight of some sort. This doesn't make it any more normal though. It still seems to be getting barren.
Damn it, I've been so bored lately. I really need to find something to occupy the time I'm not at school, doing school stuff, or reading. I'm looking into possibilities.
