The Saturday Night Report
Feb. 7th, 2004 09:29 pmWell, here it is, 9.30 on Saturday. The one night where I have no school tomorrrow. Nice.
So what have I done today? NOTHING? Well, I had two classes this morning, which ended up condensing into nothing. The was a quiz in math, so I was out in 20 minutes, and I did nothing in photo. I thought dad had a meeting with his meditation group, but turns out there was a communication mishap. So instead of being picked up at 12.30, I was out of there by 10.30. Wooho!!!
So I came home and plopped down in front of the TV. Have watched everything from Dave theBarbarian to Teen Titans. And some Kim Possible. (The only three cartoons I can really stand.) Of course, my little sister had to watch Duck Dodgers, a show which made me a little irritated today. Cpt. Dodgers dressed up in drag (imagine Daffy duck in drag-with red wig, dress, etc), and made a comment stating "Sydney Bristow, eat your heart out." Me, being the avid Alias fan I am, proceeded to sulk until the show was over. Which, thankfully, was only another five minutes.
And I have finally seen Edward Scissorhands, and am now in love with the movie. It was even better then I thought it would be. In fact, was far beyond that. Man, do I love Tim Burton.
My SAT scores should be coming soon. I know I did well, and so refuse to even think about them.
The weather is terrible. Cold, wet, dull. I hate it.
I get a small kick out of the fact that my acne medication gel dries up my skin to prevent acne. However, in these colder months, my skin naturally dries out. A lot. So instead of twice a day, I'm probably applying it once every other day. And i need to call my doctor to ask about getting off another medication. It's funny, I never was on any meds for 17 years. And in the space of 24 hours I was on three.
Our other movies this weekend at dad's were Where's Poppa?, which was surprisingly funny, and a bunch of Lizzie McGuire episodes, which I won't touch with a ten foot pole.
It occured to me that when the yearbook comes out, i'll have personally put about a quarter of the pages onto the computer. At 192 pages, do the math.
And to make my day better, I acquired almost all of the breyer sales catalogues from about 1991 to 2002. this makes me very happy, as I can sit back and drool at all the models I don't have. (Sad, yes, I know.)
