New member of the family

We just got a guinea pig. Since Smudge (evil cat) went to the Potter League as he has a small problem with pissing on things. (Naturally, Potter wasn't told of this little problem.) The guinea pig is brown and white, with a black patch over one eye. The way it stands, we're calling it (boy/girl? We don't know) Bootle, after the Bootle Bumtrinket in My Family and Other Animals by Gerald Durrell.

In other news, I needed to collect something I thought had bacteria for a culture in Bio. What did I chose? The slime from above pug's nose roll below his eye.
