lightbulb!

went through the garb closet today and realized that we've got enough clothing to last pennsic after i finish a pair of tunics for ryan and our middle easterns.

yes, we'll be wearing things twice but i really don't care. likewise, a number of them are sort of plain... but again, they don't look terrible and they'll work nicely in the end.

overall i'm very happy at this realization right now.

(On a practical level, things are mostly plain, but they're all linen and I don't stare at them going 'I need to get rid of that'. They can get a bit more decoration later, but I'm ok with this.)

plain and simple and well made is always good. You can accessorize with trims, naalbinding and jewelry.

Yep! Though I *really* needed to do better finish work on some of the older things. Well, I'll have handsewing supplies with me!

Post-war... there will be more trim. Much more trim.... *insert dreamy look here*
