Deerskin and Beauty (to a slightly lesser extent) are two of my will-reread-once-a-year books. Your warning about the graphicness of the rape scene in Deerskin is timely; that's a painful, horrific bit of writing there. I've always wished RM'd write a sequel, though; don't you want to see what happens with their kids?
