in terms of good blugrass-ish/country-ish (not sure the category) I recently got off iTunes "House of the Rising Sun" by Doc & Richard Watson, "Shady Grove" by Brooks Williams, and "No Man's Land" by Trnt Wagler and LOVE them all.
