Productive. But not as Initally Planned

So, did absolutely nothing on my to-do list.

However, did conquer the dish monster, and clean the apartment some. Dismantled the bed-frame, and took it, the headboard, and a bunch of other stuff over to the storage unit. domnall did some tidying up of said storage unit.

It's worth noting, also, that in the last year or so, domnall has become a pretty good cook. He made a nice pork loin for tonight, and there's a soup going using a number of our leftover CSA veggies. I tossed dinner for tomorrow together - Tandoori chicken - and it's marinating in the fridge overnight.

Hit up Grandma's Spinning Wheel - quite liked it and will certainly be going back to them again.

We got a set of Herzog/Kinski films at 40% off! *squeal* It includes Aguirre, The Wrath of God, Nosferatu, Woyzeck, Fitzcarraldo, Cobra Verde, and My Best Fiend. I am so delighted by this it's not even funny. At last! I can happily introduce domnall to Fitzcarraldo!


And saw Watchmen. Which, I should add, made me disgusting pleased. I would like to ask however, why one would choose to bring small children (4 or 5 maybe? I'm not so hot at estimating ages) to it...

I still am a bit sad we didn't go. Ah well - we just really need to have Crown here in Tucson at some point.

I accept that blame readily. God knows I've been blamed for worse things.

And now off to bed for me, to dream of a life where I don't work at a job I loathe and/or live miles away from where I wish to be right now. :-D
