Karuna's Thai

They're right across from the Grant Road Bookman's. Cheap and really tasty. Unpretentious (read: just above hole in the wall status) and so on.

Please explain why we've not given them a shot before? Their curry is delicious! I keep forgetting how much I like Thai basil...

Char's at 5th and Rosemont is better, but not by much. My only problem with Karuna is that their dishes tend to be a little watery. Still quite decent. :-) (If it's in the central or ne sides of town and not new, I've probably been there... I have a love of non-chain dining.)

They're within walking distance of our place.

We were originally heading for takeout Chinese, but ended up being detoured. *grin*
