I'd definitely suggest at least taking a look at CSA. It's not a complete overload on produce; got a melon, a summer squash/zucchini, two onions, five peppers, a bell pepper, some pears, two ears of corn, and some basil.
It's less than we'll eat produce-wise in a week, but I think the opportunity to support local farmers is great. And it's really easy to supplement with other produce. I also picked up some eggs (pricey, but I've wanted to try organic/non-graded for a while - I hear they're much eggier) and cajeta, which is a caramel made with goat's milk. IT is so disgustingly delicious...
