Oh my gosh! I LOVE Sweeney Todd! I've been listening to both the original cast and the Patti LuPone/George Hearn concert one. There are ups and downs of both recordings, but you've absolutely GOT to get the Sweeney Todd in concert DVD or video from the 1980's. It's got Angela Lansbury and George Hearn (who is a much better Sweeney than Len, in my opinion) and is just fucking phenomenal! I'm going to have to watch it again soon. I love everyone in that cast, which is extremely rare for me, and the entire play is filmed. :) Teh greatness.
