I agree completely with the Bono love. He promotes a cause he cares about passionately, not some popular bandwagon he decided to jump on.

As for celebrities themselves - i think this whole gossip craze has gone too far. Sure, one can argue that they lose some rights to privacy when they become a part of the public eye, but there is a damn big difference between some and 'all.' And it certainly doesn't give tabloids the right to make up rubbish whenever they feel like it. These are real people you're dealing with, after all.

I guess that's why i tend to fangirl actors who aren't too exposed. There's definitely a bonus to not seeing them in every other gossip rag day in, day out.
