Grinch!
Christmas is really starting to get to me. Actually, I suspect it's been getting to me for a while and only recently has just boiled over and I've become sick of the whole shebang that is the holiday season.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy giving and getting presents and such, but I can't stand all the other stuff. The endless (bad) songs, the endless displays on lawns (mom is of the opinion that it's amusing when I squeal in horror as we pass osme of these displays. actually, it is rather amusing). Did I mention the incessant ads with little children lisping that for christmas they'd like a Sony Plasma... something. It's enough to drive one insane. if one isn't already crazy to start out with.
There's a guy in town who creates this giant display every year. He gets serious points for all the work that goes into it. But after that, I don't know, it seems excessive. I dearly wish I had a digital camera to document the monstrosity, for that is what it is.
Maybe I'm just being excessively Grinch-like, but I can't wait for Christmas to end.
