Computer Woes - Mainly. With a Bit of WOW thrown in.
I'm down to a minor cough - this is good. Very good.

See, we were both on Final Fantasy XI. This was fine and dandy - except accounts hadn't been touched in a month and a half or so. *shrug* He suggested maybe playing World of Warcraft for a bit. I being the sheep I am, agreed. (Ok, it's actually because I think MMoRPGs are more fun if you've someone to play with close-by.)
Yeah... I like it. Moreso than FFXI I think. I like the interface, and as a noob, it's a little easier to get into. I've got a gnome mage and a Forsaken warlock. I am a happy Willa. The gnome will most likely end up my main gal. I tell people it's because I don't have Burning Crusade to get a Draenai. Yet. If Elspeth gets upped in the near future, I'll probably start playing on her, currently, I'm on one ofdomnall's laptops.
Speaking of Elspeth, her power adapter went *blooie* yesterday. There was a part where the wires were frayed, and they finally gave up the ghost. Neither place carrying Apple things in town (the Apple Store and a place called Simtek) had them currently in stock. Simtek carries third-party ones, and was getting them in early next week. So I ordered a new one (found out what brand they carried and the guy said it was what he used) and it should be here late this week.
I was less than amused and rather pissed off. The solution? I'm borrowing Dom's old laptop. It's about 5 or 6 years old he says, but does the job quite fine.
I love the universe right now.
